Prayer and Bible Studies

  • Wednesday’s midday Bible Study starts at 11:00 am.
  • Wednesday evening’s Prayer Meeting session starts at 7:00 p.m. on ZOOM. There will be no evening Bible Study sessions or YouTube streams for May 2024. Instead, we will have presentations from various professionals for Family Month. See the brochure below.
  • Weekly Thursday Morning Prayer at 10:00 a.m. The GMC Sanctuary will remain open until 4:00 p.m. each Thursday for those who wish to pray there.

Youth Meetings

Grace Youth Ministry – Friday, May 31, 2024 – Family Games Night @7:00 p.m.
Youth In Praise (YIP) meets on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. and
Teens In Praise (TIP) meets on Saturdays at 2:30 p.m.

Sunday School Activities

Sunday School classes for all age groups meet each Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:55 a.m.
A new cohort of the Freedom In Christ Discipleship Programme will commence on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Interested persons are asked to give their names and contact numbers to the Church Office.

Sunday Service

Our Worship Services continue face-to-face from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. It is shared via ZOOM and live-streamed on our YouTube Channel. Our speaker for this Sunday is Sister Cameka Ruth Taylor.

We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons, or email us via our website using our contact page. In addition, you may complete an online survey on our Polls page. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

Membership and Baptism

We ask anyone desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office, or speak directly with Reverend Mark Dawes.

GMC Connect Card

The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.

Members’ Milestone Recognition

The Membership Department wants to recognize and celebrate with our members with upcoming Milestone Birthdays or Wedding Anniversaries. If you have one such special event, please share it with Sister Dawn Ashley- the Social Support Officer or a member of the Church Office Team.

Church Photo Directory

Efforts continue to develop a Church Photo Directory here at GMC, to help our members recognize and get to know each other. This is a part of our drive to facilitate caring relationships within our fellowship. For those who wish to participate, we ask that you kindly email to the Church Office, a recent photo ( a selfie will also work), that represents you. GMC’s email address is gracemis@cwjamaica .com. Those without electronic access may send or hand deliver photos to the Church Office Team.

Family Month (May 2024) at GMC, hosted by GMC’s Ministry Department

2024 Theme: “Renewal and Revival Through Transformational Leadership in our Families“.

This Wednesday Night, May 29th, following our Prayer Session at 7:00 pm, Mr. Daryl Palmer, Attorney at Law, will present on the Data Protection Act.

The Youth Meeting on Friday, May 31st, will feature a Family Games Night.

Join us today:

  1. immediately following the morning service for our Annual Fellowship Dinner in the Annex.
  2. at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary for the Family Concert.

at the Boone Hall Oasis in the cool hills of St. Andrew. The Team will continue to provide further details on this exciting upcoming event.

✓ University Singers Concert – June 29, 2024
Tickets are available from the Church Office, members of the Sanctuary Choir and the Worship, Music & Creative Arts Department for $3,500.00 each.

✓ NMYM Summer Camps 2024 -July 13 – August 17, 2024
Camp Forms are now in the Church Office and may be picked up at your convenience. Please note that registration closes on Monday, July 8, 2024.

GMC Legal Aid Services

Starting June 2024, lawyers from our Fellowship will provide free general legal services each Wednesday from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm by appointment, from the Church Office. Please contact the Church Office at 876-969-0413 between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm to schedule your appointment.

Opportunity for Ministry

The Communion Team needs additional members to assist with the preparation of emblems for our Communion services. Please give this request your prayerful consideration and indicate your interest to the Church Office Team at 876-969-0413, or by email to:


Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins” and those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

We continue to observe the following protocols for your safety and comfort when we meet:

  1. Hand Washing and Sanitization.
  2. Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  3. Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  4. Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.

Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the Health Authorities.
