Council Member, Elder Linley Reynolds, has issued this Council Bulletin for 15 June 2020. It is in response to concerns raised relating to the streaming of our Services and Bible Studies.
Dear Brethren in Christ,
Since the announcement of the Coronavirus pandemic – COVID-19 and its attendant risks in March 2020, Grace Missionary Church (GMC) commenced broadcasting of our Sunday worship services via the Church’s website.
Effective Sunday June 07, 2020, GMC has been utilizing the Zoom platform to allow live viewing of our Sunday Service in the Sanctuary. We have received feedback from you and have taken steps to address the issues identified.
On Sunday June 14, 2020 we became aware of additional issues related to video and audio. These were due to low bandwidth which could not accommodate the live streaming via YouTube as well as Zoom.
Our service provider will be undertaking certain improvements to increase bandwidth to the Sanctuary, which should ensure improved internet quality. Once this is done, we should see improved service quality and access to our church services via the respective platforms.
Based on the foregoing we seek your patience and understanding as we work towards rectifying the issues, hopefully during this week. In the interim, should you have any further concerns/feedback, please do not hesitate to inform us.
We wish to thank the persons who have been spearheading the use of technology and have spent many hours to bring us to this stage where it is supporting the delivery of our programmes, which has reached the four corners of the world.
Yours in Christ,
Elder Linley Reynolds
