Sunday Service

As we continue service today, July 12th, we will have one one service at 8:00 AM. Today’s speaker is Reverend Rodger Kirby, General Secretary of The Missionary Churches Association in Jamaica. The service will also be aired live via ZOOM and YouTube, as well as delayed here on our website in the afternoon.

Condolences

We extend our condolences to the following persons who have suffered loss recently.

  • To Sister Melva Knight and family on the passing of her aunt, Mrs Phyliss Davis, on June 24, 2020. The Thanksgiving Service was held on Friday, July 10, 2020, at the Roman’s Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM.
  • To Brother Orville and Sister Georgia Beckford and family on the passing of Ms. Yvonne Beckford, Brother Orville’s sister. She passed on Saturday, July 4, 2020. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date.
Prayers

Our prayers are with all our students who will be sitting the CSEC and CAPE Examinations commencing on July 13, 2020. We wish you all success.

Also, please remember the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other as we slowly return from our isolation and separation.

BIBLE STUDIES

We continue to host our Bible Studies via Zoom each Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Reverend Michael Smellie also continues to host the July series, “Fundamentals of Christian Living“. Information on how to join these Studies is provided by email, and also posted in the various What’s App groups. So look out for this and stay connected.

Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands and clean surfaces regularly.

Above all, given the issues associated with COVID-19, please pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the relevant authorities.
