Children’s Church

Youth Ministries Meeting
The Youth Department meets each Friday at 7:30 pm via ZOOM. So please contact Sister Dionne Richards for the Link and join us.
Prayer Meeting and Bible Studies
Our weekly Prayer Meeting session every Wednesday starts at 7:00 PM on ZOOM and our Bible Study session follows at 8:00 PM on ZOOM and YouTube. The first hour is reserved for our prayer session on ZOOM only. In Bible Study this week we discuss “The Eternal Security of The Believer”.
Prayer, Praise and Testimonies
We have “Prayer, Praise and Testimonies” sessions on the last Sunday of each month @ 7:00 pm via ZOOM. Please join us for a time of fellowship and Spiritual renewal on the platform.
Sunday Service
We transmit our Worship Services from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. via ZOOM and our YouTube Channel. The speaker this Easter Sunday is Reverend Mark Dawes.
Also, if anyone is desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office or speak directly with Reverend Dawes.
The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from members of our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.
We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons. You may also email us via our website at webmaster@gmc-mca.org. We greatly appreciate your feedback.
Other Announcements
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sister Madge (Jen) Nicholson on April 10, 2022. We pray for comfort and strength for the family members here and abroad, and particularly for Jim her beloved brother, as they grieve. Funeral arrangements will be shared as soon as they are finalized.
Also, let us continue to be in prayer for Mr. Devon Brown (brother of Sister Catherine James) as he is still a patient at the Princess Margaret Hospital in St. Thomas. Let us be praying for the family as well.
Sister Kadian Ingleton will participate in the Special Olympics to be held June 5 – 12 in Orlando, Florida. She will compete in the Open Water Swimming. Sister Kadian is scheduled to depart Jamaica on June 4 and has requested prayers for herself and her mom.

Our Virtual Easter Production (The Story of the Cross) premieres on Easter Sunday, April 17, 2022, at 6:30 PM on GMC’s YouTube Channel. Don’t miss it!
Teens…….It’s finally here!!
Teens in Praise (TIP) resumes on Saturday April 30, 2022 at 2:30 pm. So come on out for Bible Study, Dancing, Drama, Sign Language, Miming & Games (Public Health Act protocols will be observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization).

Family Month – May 2022
A number of activities are being planned for Family Month 2022 and the Schedule of Events will be circulated soon. Please be praying with the Planning Team for God to be glorified through all the activities.
Also, the Annual Health Fair is scheduled for May 14, 2022 and the Ministry Department is seeking your support by way of sponsorship for this event to help to defray the cost of various medical tests to those who will participate. If you can assist in any way, please contact the Church Office at 876-969-0413, 876-925-3214 or 876-924-1576.
The Missionary Church Association in Jamaica has several events planned.
- Annual Conference – April 19 to 21, 2022, starting at 9:00 am each day on ZOOM only. However, the Opening Speaker will be shared live on YouTube.
- 72nd Annual Convention – Sunday, April 24, 2022, also starting at 9:00 am. The Guest Speaker is Reverend Courtney Stewart, General Secretary, Bible Society of The West Indies. This will be broadcast live on our YouTube Channel.
Also, The MCAJ invites the participation and support of Grace Missionary Church in the weekend Crusades and Online Weeks of Prayer as detailed below.

Prayers
Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities
With the rescinding of the DRMA COVID-19 Containment Measures, plans are being made for a gradual resumption of other ministry activities in ‘face to face’ mode’, These will be guided by the Enforcement Measures under the Public Health Act. We will provide additional details as soon as we finalize the arrangements.
Covid-19 Update
The COVID-19 virus containment measures are now governed by the Public Health Act Regulations, effective March 18, 2022. The recommended protocols are:
- Hand Washing and Sanitization.
- Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.
Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the relevant authorities relating to COVID 19.
Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.
In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
