Prayer Meeting and Bible Studies

We meet for our weekly Prayer Meeting session every Wednesday starting at 7:00 PM on ZOOM. This is followed by our Bible Study at 8:00 PM on ZOOM and YouTube.

Grace Youth Ministries (GYM) Meeting

The Youth Department meets each Friday at 7:00 PM. Please contact Sister Dionne Richards if you wish to join them.

Sunday School

In-person Sunday School classes for all age groups take place from 8:00 AM – 8:55 AM. This is immediately before Worship Services.
(However, Covid containment protocols will be observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization)

Sunday Service

We transmit our Worship Services from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 AM via ZOOM and live-stream on our YouTube Channel. The Speaker for this Communion Sunday is Reverend Rennard White.

We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons. You may also email us via our website at webmaster@gmc-mca.org. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

Membership and Baptism

We ask anyone desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office or speak directly with Reverend Mark Dawes.

GMC Connect Card

The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from members of our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.

Other Announcements

The Funeral Service for the father of Sister Donna Wellington will take place at Calvary Baptist Church, 2 Corinaldi Ave, Montego Bay on September 23, 2022, at 10:30 AM. Let us remember the family in our prayers.

Others from our Church family are mourning the loss of close family members. These include:

  • Oran and Onando (OJ) Mason lost Mr. Daniel Mason (their father and grandfather respectively).
  • Sister Novlet Brown’s (o/s) father went home to be with the Lord this past week.

Funeral Arrangements will be shared when they become available.

Do remember our brethren who are not well, or recuperating, at this time. Let us keep surrounding them with our prayers and words of encouragement:

September 2022 is Evangelism Thrust – New Life In Christ.  Let us each invite someone to join us in Sunday Service, (in person or via our online platforms) during the month of September. We pray that God will speak through His servants who will deliver the Word and to all who will hear the gospel.

Church News 4 September

The MCAJ Women’s Ministry Eastern Area 2 Ingathering Service will take place at Hampton Green Missionary Church on September 25, 2022, at 4:00 PM. Ladies, we hope you will make every effort to support this Annual event.

The 10th Annual Wycliffe Caribbean Leaders’ Breakfast takes place on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at The Venetian, Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel, 17 Waterloo Road, Kingston 10, at 8:00 AM.
Theme: “Passing the Baton, Heading to the Finish Line, Celebrating the Faithful”.
Guest Speaker: Mr. David Cardenas, newly appointed Wycliffe Global Alliance Americas Area Director.

A special feature of this year’s Breakfast will be an Awards Ceremony where our own Elder John and Sister Denise Roomes will be honoured, among other outstanding leaders who have served the region and beyond for many years.

Prayers

Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities

We continue to observe the following protocols for your safety and comfort when we meet:

  1. Hand Washing and Sanitization.
  2. Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  3. Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  4. Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.

Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the Health Authorities.

Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.

In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
