Prayer Meeting and Bible Studies:
On Wednesdays, we meet in the Sanctuary for our weekly midday Bible Study at 11:00 AM and, later, our Prayer Meeting session starts at 7:00 PM on ZOOM. The evening Bible Study starts at 8:00 PM and is shared on ZOOM and YouTube.
Youth Meetings
Grace Youth Ministry (GYM) meets each Friday at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Also, Youth In Praise (YIP) and Teens In Praise (TIP) both meet in the Sanctuary on Saturdays at 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM respectively.
Sunday School Activities
Sunday School classes for all age groups take place from 8:00 AM – 8:55 AM. This is immediately before Worship Services. Covid Containment protocols continue to be observed.
Sunday Service
Our Worship Services continue in a face-to-face format from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 AM. It is shared via ZOOM and live-streamed on our YouTube Channel. Our speaker for this Sunday is Reverend Richard Beckford.
We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons, or email us via our website using our contact page. In addition, you may complete an online survey on our Polls page. We greatly appreciate your feedback.
Membership and Baptism
We ask anyone desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office, or speak directly with Reverend Mark Dawes.
GMC Connect Card
The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from members of our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.
Other Announcements
We announce with regret the passing of Mrs Grace Dinald on Sunday, May 14th. She was the mother of Gresford Dinald and mother-in-law to Sisters Michelle and Shala Dinald. Please support the family with your prayers and encouragement, during this challenging time. The funeral arrangements will be shared when they become available.
The Funeral Service for Sister Yvonne Duval will take place here at GMC on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10:00 am. Please continue to remember her family and loved ones before the Lord during this season.
We continue to offer support through our prayers and words of encouragement to our members and adherents who have recently lost loved ones. May the peace and comfort of our Lord be yours.
We also remember our brethren who are not well or are recuperating, at this time. Let us keep surrounding them with our prayers and words of encouragement:

May is Family Month at Grace Missionary Church! A schedule of the planned activities is below. There will be further updates as necessary. Our 2023 theme is “The Family: Spiritually Alive, Mentally Alert & Physically Fit”. Come and fellowship with us!
On May 21st at 6:00 pm there will be a Forum on Suicide: Coping & Hoping with Christ as our help. The meeting will be hybrid and will feature guest presenters. A Zoom Link will be circulated for those unable to come to the Sanctuary.
On Wednesday, May 24th, we will resume our regular Bible Study sessions with a focus on the Family. Do join us as we get into the Word. The Zoom link will be circulated.
Next Sunday, May 28, 2023, is Hospitality & Missions Sunday at GMC. On that day, the Worship Service will be followed by the sharing of a Fellowship Meal (Koinonia) with our Church Family Members. An email has been circulated to ask for your contributions in cash or kind to some of the items needed for the meal. Please review and respond by May 24, 2023. We would be truly grateful for your usual kind support.
Also, the (virtual) Family Concert is scheduled for May 28, 2023, at 6:00 pm. If you or your family can do an item, please indicate to the Church Office or to Sister Michelle Dinald.
Let us continue to pray for Elder John Roomes and the Team as they continue their mission engagement with Rwanda and Malawi until May 24, 2023. We seek God’s guidance, protection, and provision for all aspects of the mission trip, as they prepare to return home.
Grace Missionary Church will host a benefit night of the University Singers 2023 Season of Concert on June 24, 2023, at 7:30 pm at The Phillip Sherlock Centre, UWI. Tickets are now available, at a cost of $3,000 each. There will be a ticket sales desk set up in the annex following today’s service, where you may make purchases or bookings. Members of the Worship & Praise Team will also have tickets for sale. Please encourage your families and friends to come out and support our benefit to raise funds for GMC Ministries.
Christian Life Fellowship (CLF) is offering for Ministry Leaders, online Grief Counselling Training in a 16-week programme from May to October 2023. Please contact them at 876-927-1175 or 876-477-9297 for further information. (An information flyer is below).

Prayers
Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities
We continue to observe the following protocols for your safety and comfort when we meet:
- Hand Washing and Sanitization.
- Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.
Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the Health Authorities.
Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.
In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
