Prayer Meeting and Bible Studies
We meet for our weekly Prayer Meeting session every Wednesday starting at 7:00 PM on ZOOM. However, for “Family Month” our Bible Study sessions are replaced with various presentations. So on Wednesday, May 25th, we will have a study on “Biblical Focus on The Family“. The presenter will be our own Reverend Mark Dawes.
Grace Youth Ministries (GYM) Meeting
The Youth Department meets each Friday at 7:30 PM via ZOOM. So please contact Sister Dionne Richards for the Link and join us.
Teens in Praise (TIP)
Teens in Praise resumes in-person meetings on Saturdays at 2:30 PM with Bible Study, Dancing, Drama, Sign Language, Miming & Games.
(Covid containment protocols will be observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization)
Prayer, Praise and Testimonies
We have “Prayer, Praise and Testimonies” sessions on the last Sunday of each month @ 7:00 PM via ZOOM. Please join us for a time of fellowship and Spiritual renewal on the platform.
Sunday Service
We transmit our Worship Services from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 AM via ZOOM and our YouTube Channel. The Speaker for this Missions Sunday is Reverend Courtney Stewart of The Bible Society of The West Indies.
Membership and Baptism
We ask anyone desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office or speak directly with Reverend Mark Dawes.
The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from members of our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.
We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons. You may also email us via our website at webmaster@gmc-mca.org. We greatly appreciate your feedback.
Other Announcements
The Thanksgiving Service for the life of Sister Madge Nicholson (Jen) will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM here in the Sanctuary. Please continue to remember her family, especially her brother Jim, in prayer at this time.
Sister Kadian Ingleton will participate in the Special Olympics to be held June 5 – 12 in Orlando, Florida. She will compete in the Open Water Swimming. Sister Kadian is scheduled to depart Jamaica on June 4 and has requested prayers for herself and her mom.
Also, Sunday School for all age groups will resume on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 8:00 AM – 8:55 AM. (Covid containment protocols will be observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization)
Family Month – May 2022
May is Family Month and you are invited to join us in as many of the planned activities as you are able to. The Brochure detailing the events is again being circulated, along with the announcements. Also, our theme is “Renewal of the Family in Body, Mind, Spirit”.
Coming Soon…….Music Month in June!! Theme: Psalm 150 – ‘Let everything that hath breath… Praise the Lord’.
The MCAJ invites the participation and support of Grace Missionary Church in the following events.

Prayers
Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities
With the rescinding of the DRMA COVID-19 Containment Measures, plans are being made for a gradual resumption of other ministry activities in ‘face to face’ mode’, These will be guided by the Enforcement Measures under the Public Health Act. We will provide additional details as soon as we finalize the arrangements.
Covid-19 Update
The COVID-19 virus containment measures are now governed by the Public Health Act Regulations, effective March 18, 2022. The recommended protocols are:
- Hand Washing and Sanitization.
- Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.
Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the relevant authorities relating to COVID 19.
Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.
In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
