Children’s Church

Children’s Church is on Saturdays at 3:00 PM via ZOOM. Please contact Sisters Michelle Dinald or Carol Blake for the Link. You may also contact the Church Office.

Youth Ministries Meeting

The Youth Department meets each Friday at 7:30 pm via ZOOM. So please contact Sister Dionne Richards for the Link and join us.

Bible Studies

Bible Study sessions are held every Wednesday, starting at 7:00 PM on ZOOM and 7:30 PM on YouTube. For December we focus on the theme – “The Godhead“. Also, Reverend Richard Beckford is our presenter.

Information on how to join these Studies is also provided by email and posted in the various WhatsApp groups. Therefore, please invite family/friends/co-workers to join us each Wednesday. Also, please share the link with everyone.

Sunday Service

Our Worship Service is the National Missionary Youth Convention. It starts at 9:00 AM and will be via ZOOM and YouTube. The link for this is https://youtu.be/7-WxzfQRByU.

We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons. You may also email us via our website at webmaster@gmc-mca.org. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

Condolences

Our condolences to following members and their families.

  • Sister Sylvia Martin and Brother Donahue martin lost their father, Mr Desmond Martin. The funeral announcement will be at a later date.
  • Elder Mary Clarke lost her sister, Jasmin Nicholson.
  • Sister Dionne and Brother Jeremy Richards on the passing of his mother, Sister Hyacinth Richards. The funeral announcement at a later date.
  • Brother Michael Leslie lost his father, Mr Aston Whittle.
  • Sister Neitia Walker on the passing of her brother, Mr Headley Walker. A funeral service is planned for December 14, 2021, @ 10:00 AM in Washington D.C.
  • Brother Danville Japp lost his father, Mr Isiah Japp. The funeral service is planned for November 30, 2021, in St. Mary.
Prayers

Please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other as we return from isolation and separation.

Updated Measures Relating to Covid-19 Effective November 18 – December 10, 2021

The following are updated national measures on Covid-19 under The Disaster Risk Management Act – September 07, 2020.

Curfew Updates

The nightly curfews start at 9:00 PM and end at 5:00 AM the following morning. There are no “No Movement Days“.

Funerals and Burials are allowed with a maximum of 20 persons. However, Burials are only allowed from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Burials are not allowed on Public Holidays.

Finally, Worship Services and Weddings are allowed with a maximum of 100 persons. So please register with the Church Office to reserve your space.

Persons 60 years and older, required to work from home and otherwise, must stay home (fully vaccinated persons are exempt). They are, however, permitted to leave home once per day for medical care, food, exercise and other essentials of life.

Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the relevant authorities relating to COVID 19.

So please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands and clean surfaces regularly.

In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain the 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
