Prayer Meeting and Bible Studies

We meet for our weekly Prayer Meeting session every Wednesday starting at 7:00 PM on ZOOM. This is followed by our Bible Study at 8:00 PM on ZOOM and YouTube. The presenter will be our own Reverend Mark Dawes.

Grace Youth Ministries (GYM) Meeting

The Youth Department meets each Friday at 7:30 PM via ZOOM. So please contact Sister Dionne Richards for the Link and join us.

Teens in Praise (TIP)

Teens in Praise resumes in-person meetings on Saturdays at 2:30 PM with Bible Study, Dancing, Drama, Sign Language, Miming & Games.
(Covid containment protocols will be observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization)

Prayer, Praise and Testimonies

We have “Prayer, Praise and Testimonies” sessions on the last Sunday of each month @ 7:00 PM via ZOOM. Please join us for a time of fellowship and Spiritual renewal on the platform.

Sunday Service

We transmit our Worship Services from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 AM via ZOOM and our YouTube Channel. The Speaker for this Hospitality Sunday is Reverend David Pearson.

Membership and Baptism

We ask anyone desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office or speak directly with Reverend Mark Dawes.

The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from members of our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.

We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons. You may also email us via our website at webmaster@gmc-mca.org. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

Reverend David Clarke
The late Reverend David Clake

Reverend David B. Clarke, a luminary of the Missionary Church Association in Jamaica (MCAJ) died at his home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Thursday, May 26, 2022.  His wife Helen predeceased him some years ago.

Reverend Clarke was the first pastor of Grace Missionary Church and pastored a number of other churches in Manchester, Clarendon, Kingston & St. Catherine. He was for many years, the General Secretary of the denomination. The auditorium at the Kendal Camp and Conference Centre in Manchester was renamed the Reverend David Clark Auditorium in April 2019.

Along with the MCAJ, Grace Missionary Church extends our sincere condolences to the family of this stalwart in Christian ministry.

Also, Sister Kadian Ingleton departs Jamaica on June 4th. She will participate in the Special Olympics to be held June 5 – 12 in Orlando, Florida, in the Open Water Swimming. So continue to pray for herself and her mom.

In addition, Sunday School for all age groups will resume on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 8:00 AM – 8:55 AM. (Covid containment protocols will be observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization)

Family Month – May 2022

June has been designated Music Month at GMC. During this time special focus will be given to worship through the music of different genres. Therefore, each Sunday we expect to have with us speakers and musicians whose God-Given gifts and talents will enrich the worship experience. Our theme this year is Psalm 150 – ‘Let everything that hath breath, Praise the Lord’.

The MCAJ invites the participation and support of Grace Missionary Church in the following events.

Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities

With the rescinding of the DRMA COVID-19 Containment Measures, plans are being made for a gradual resumption of other ministry activities in ‘face to face’ mode’. These will be guided by the Enforcement Measures under the Public Health Act. We will provide additional details as soon as we finalize the arrangements.

Covid-19 Update

The COVID-19 virus containment measures are now governed by the Public Health Act Regulations, effective March 18, 2022. The recommended protocols are:

  1. Hand Washing and Sanitization.
  2. Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  3. Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  4. Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.

Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the relevant authorities relating to COVID 19.

Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.

In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
