Other Announcements

The Membership Department is reminding everyone of our Benevolence Drive for Christmas 2022. As usual, we are reaching out to you for your donations of non-perishable items, to be delivered to the Church Office.  The deadline for delivery of the donations is December 15, 2022. Christmas baskets will be prepared for distribution to our vulnerable members and adherents.

Final arrangements are being made for our Sister Ivel Barrett who went home to the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2022, after a period of illness. Details will be announced in due course

For the members of our Church Family who recently lost loved ones, we continue to support their families with our prayers and words of encouragement:

  • Sister Dawn Ashley lost her father.
  • Sister Sonia Beaton-Bogle lost her brother.

Funeral Arrangements will be shared when they become available.

Also remember our brethren who are not well, or are recuperating, at this time. Let us keep surrounding them with our prayers and words of encouragement:

  • Reverend Garnett Roper
  • Sister Evadne McLean
  • Yvonne Wright (University Hospital)

Any GMC Church Family member who does not have a Birth Certificate is invited to contact Sister Dawn Ashley, our Social Support Officer, through the Church Office. The Membership Department will be reaching out to the Registrar General’s Department (RGD) to determine the best way of helping our congregants to acquire this most important document.
