Other Announcements

The Thanksgiving Service for the life of the late Rev. David B. Clarke, former pastor of Grace Missionary Church, will take place in the United States later this month. Let us continue to pray for God’s comfort to his family during this time of loss.
Along with the MCAJ, Grace Missionary Church extends our sincere condolences to the family of this stalwart in Christian ministry.
Sister Inez Wright-Elliott, a member living overseas, has advised of the passing of her mother and her aunt in the space of two (2) weeks. She has requested that the church remember her in prayer during this very sad time for her.
Also, Sister Kadian Ingleton departed Jamaica on June 4th. She will participate in the Special Olympics to be held June 5 – 12 in Orlando, Florida, in the Open Water Swimming. So continue to pray for herself and her mom.
The funeral service for Mrs. Dorothy Bennett, (mother of Pastor Dalkeith Bennett), who died on May 28, 2022, will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, corner of Molynes Road and Washington Boulevard. Please uphold the family in prayer as they grieve.
Additionally, we are so thankful to God for successful back surgery for our bass guitar player, Brother Cordel Rattray. Please pray for complete recovery as he recuperates.
Music Month – June 2022
June is Music Month. During this time special focus will be given to worship through the music of different genres. Therefore, each Sunday we expect to have with us speakers and musicians whose God-Given gifts and talents will enrich the worship experience.
Our theme this year is Psalm 150 – ‘Let everything that hath breath, Praise the Lord‘. So let us pray for a rich time of blessing as we honour God with our praise.
Finally, GMC’s 2021 Annual General Meeting will be held virtually by Zoom on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 5:30 PM. We circulated the meeting invitation to the Membership and encourage all members to try to be present to facilitate the conduct of the business of the church.
The MCAJ invites the participation and support of Grace Missionary Church in the following events.
Date: Online Week of Prayer and Prayer Walk | Date: Weekend Crusade |
August 21 – 28, 2022 | August 26-28, 2022 |
Additional information will be provided as the dates approach. So please continue to pray for the success of these ministry initiatives.
Prayers
Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities
With the rescinding of the DRMA COVID-19 Containment Measures, plans are being made for a gradual resumption of other ministry activities in ‘face to face’ mode’. These will be guided by the Enforcement Measures under the Public Health Act. We will provide additional details as soon as we finalize the arrangements.
Covid-19 Update
The COVID-19 virus containment measures are now governed by the Public Health Act Regulations, effective March 18, 2022. The recommended protocols are:
- Hand Washing and Sanitization.
- Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
- Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.
Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the relevant authorities relating to COVID 19.
Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.
In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
