Prayer Meeting and Bible Studies

On Wednesdays, we meet for our weekly Bible Study at 11:00 AM in the Annex, and for our Prayer Meeting session at 7:00 PM on ZOOM. The evening Bible Study starts at 8:00 PM and is shared on ZOOM and YouTube.

Youth Meetings

Grace Youth Ministry meets each Friday at 7:30 PM. Contact Sister Dionne Richards if you wish to join them.
Also, on Saturdays Youth In Praise meets @ 1:00 PM and Teens in Praise meets @ 2:30 PM. Join us in the sanctuary for, Music, Dancing, Drama, Sign Language, Miming, and Games.
(Covid containment protocols observed- Wearing of masks, Sanitization). See you there!

Sunday School

Sunday School classes for all age groups take place from 8:00 AM – 8:55 AM. This is immediately before Worship Services.

Sunday Service

We transmit our Worship Services from the Sanctuary each Sunday at 9:00 AM via ZOOM and live-stream on our YouTube Channel. This month at GMC, we celebrate our Youth and Children’s Ministries and our speaker today is Brother Kevin Bailey.

We welcome your feedback regarding our Bible Studies and Sunday Services. Your comments will help us to grow and serve you better. So call or email the office or any of the Elders or Deacons, or email us via our website using our contact page. In addition, you may complete an online survey on our Polls page. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

Membership and Baptism

We ask anyone desirous of Baptism or Membership, please indicate your interest to the Church Office or speak directly with Reverend Mark Dawes.

GMC Connect Card

The GMC Connect Card is available on our Membership Page and from members of our Team of Ushers. We invite you to complete and submit the card to help us to get to know you better. This will help us to provide the spiritual support you may need from time to time.

Other Announcements

Our Sister Catherine Barclay-James recently lost a brother. Please support the family with your prayers for God’s comfort, at this time. The funeral arrangements will be shared when available.
We also continue to pray for those of our church family who have lost close relatives in recent weeks.

Remember our brethren who are not well, or are recuperating, at this time. Let us keep surrounding them with our prayers and words of encouragement:

GMC Church Family members who do not have a Birth Certificate are invited to contact Sister Dawn Ashley, our Social Support Officer, through the Church Office. The Membership Department will be reaching out to the Registrar General’s Department (RGD) to determine the best way of helping our congregants to acquire this most important document.

The next meeting of the GMC Women’s Fellowship is scheduled for November 12, 2022, at 9:30 AM, in the Annex. Sister Anne Logan will be our guest speaker, presenting on the topic: “Understanding Your Role In The Safe Use Of Medication”. Ladies, please plan to be there!

The National Missionary Youth Ministries (NMYM)

The NMYM will observe November 2022 as Youth Month around the theme: Re-engage, Revive, Rebuild. Join us at GMC in the activities being organized by the Youth and Children’s Ministries.

They will also present CAMP OUT at the Kendal Camp and Conference Centre – Cost $8,000.00 (limited space available):

  • November 25-27 for ages 14-17 years

The Eltham Missionary Church has extended an invitation for our support at their Annual Harvest & Thanksgiving Service to be held on November 13, 2022, starting at 4:30 PM.

The MCAJ Evangelism and Missions Department in collaboration with the Christian Education Department invites all Pastors, Elders, Deacons, Board Members, and those involved in Altar Work (Counselling) / Follow-up to a National Training on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM,  via the Zoom platform. Registration will open on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, and the Zoom details will be provided at a later date.

Areas to be covered are:
1. Altar Work 2. Discipleship Process 3. Follow-up Process

Prayers

Please continue to pray for God’s healing touch for our members who are at this time recuperating. Also, please remember to pray for the “Sick and Shut-Ins“, as well as those classified as vulnerable. In addition, remember to stay in touch with each other during our time of isolation and separation.

Resumption of Church Activities

We continue to observe the following protocols for your safety and comfort when we meet:

  1. Hand Washing and Sanitization.
  2. Mask Wearing in enclosed spaces (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  3. Maintaining Physical distance (highly recommended, but not mandated).
  4. Remaining at home if you are feeling unwell.

Also, please remember to pay very close attention to the periodic updates and advisories issued by the Health Authorities.

Please remember to call and pray with one another. Also, keep safe, practice social distancing, wash hands, and clean surfaces regularly.

In addition, remember to wear your masks, sanitize, and maintain 6 feet physical distance. Also, let us keep in touch and encourage each other, especially during these very challenging times.
