YWAM – 18 August 2019

This September I have the amazing opportunity to be part of a group of missionaries from Youth With A Mission in Chico, California (YWAM). We will be enrolled in a program called the Crossroads Discipleship Training School (CDTS). The CDTS is designed for people who are twenty five years and older who are seeking spiritual renewal, inspiration, or a new direction in life. It’s a unique opportunity to know God more personally, to increase in Christian character, and to become actively involved in missions. This five- month course has a twelve week classroom (lecture) phase followed by an eight week field assignment (outreach).

I will be in missionary training and then on a short term field assignment. But ultimately, I believe the call of God on my life to serve long term in Central America and so this is the first step in my being able to serve full-time as a missionary. This has always been a ‘long time’ desire of mine and now the Lord has made it possible….and so the journey begins!

I will be taking my son as well. He will be enrolled in the Foundation School at the Youth With A Mission Base in Chico, California. So you can join us by partnering with us financially and prayerfully.

I am very excited to be a part of this and what God is doing in the world! Therefore, as we prepare for the trip and our future in missions, we need your prayers. Please pray for our safety and for God to work in and through us.
