NEWS PRAYER AND SUPPORT UPDATE!

Hello friends and prayer partners. I greet you in the awesome name of our Lord Jesus Christ. What a wonderful calling we have to follow Jesus and make disciples, The Jesus Way, as He did!
Rejoice with me at what God is doing in us and through us in RENEWED Ministries. As you know, I attended the 4th Lausanne Congress on Global Evangelization, discipleship and missions in Seoul, South Korea in late September. What an great experience that was! Hallelujah. I was blessed, informed, challenged and inspired. There were over 5000 pastors and leaders of Christians ministries from over 200 countries in attendance. What joy to fellowship with so many of my brothers and sisters from around the world. Here are some brief highlights:
- Collaborate! Collaborate! Collaborate! This was the main word at the Congress. We need to work with others in the Body of Christ to make disciples and transform lives by the power of God’s Spirit, not try to do it alone. If others are already doing something similar, then join with them for greater Kingdom impact!
- Focus on young people. Over 60 percent of the world’s population are young people under 40. These are increasingly digital generations of children, adolescents, and young adults. They spend their lives on their devices: smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. We need to reach them and disciple them digitally because they may not be reachable any other way!
- Christianity is in decline in every region of the world EXCEPT in Africa!! That’s where God has sent us in RENEWED Ministries. Years ago! This makes our calling and ministry in Africa more urgent and focused.
We NEED YOU to help us expand our ministry in Africa to be more effective, impactful and transformative. First, we need you to PRAY continuously for us in RENEWED Ministries. We are in the midst of planning and preparing for Africa Missions 2025 (May to July) to Kenya, Rwanda, Goma (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Burundi and South Africa (Western Cape and Eastern Cape). In Kenya we will have an all-Africa leadership and trainers retreat for our African leaders and trainers. Everyone needs to be on the same page. All of us need to be fully engaged in making and multiplying disciples for the Kingdom and glory of God and all of us need to start and lead disciple-making movements. This must be accomplished the Jesus Way – doing things the way He did it. We need to imitate His life and teachings.
In the other countries, we will focus on training pastors and leaders in discipleship and leadership and training pastoral counsellors and lay counsellors in Rwanda. We will do healing services in Rwanda too to help people deal with their emotional pain which they still face from the genocide of 1994. We will do youth outreach in South Africa including sports ministry. We will be reaching out to hundreds of children and youth to present the gospel of Jesus and making disciples of these young ones.
Secondly, we NEED you to give and give generously and sacrificially to our 2025 Missions budget. We need $60,000 to cover all our needs for the missions I described above. Please pray and ask God how much you should give. We need your support! You can give a one-time gift or monthly.
