Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
I remember the moment so clearly. Courtney Richards was serving at Bethel College as Associate Dean of Students. At the same time, he was working on a doctorate. We were sitting in my office when he shared with me that his pursuit of a Psy.D in psychology/counselling was misguided. God was calling him to establish a ministry focused on mentoring young disciples in Christ. That moment proved to be the conception of RENEWED Ministries. Shortly thereafter, upon Courtney’s return to Jamaica, the birth of this ministry took place.
Now we are celebrating twenty-five years of remarkable ministry that has spread globally and is still growing. On September 9, 2021, we are planning to celebrate the 25th anniversary of RENEWED Ministries at Bethel University where the Lord initially placed a passion for a ministry of mentoring and discipleship training in Courtney’s heart. Details of this celebration are still in the planning stages. As a vital partner or beneficiary of this ministry, you will be invited to join in celebrating twenty-five years of God’s blessing on Courtney’s ministry. If you are in the islands of the Caribbean, you will plan your own celebrations on each island where RENEWED Ministries and Courtney has significant ministry.
In this midst of a global pandemic, RENEWED Ministries needs your support to assist in expanding its ministry. You can do this in two ways. First, we need your prayer support. This is vital to the work of the Lord! Second, we need your financial support. This can be done by making a one-time gift to RENEWED Ministries or through monthly support. We are asking you to commit to a designated number of shares, US$25 each, which will greatly enhance our ministry and Courtney’s support.
