RENEWED Ministries Update

RENEWED Ministries Update – 20 December 2021

This is the RENEWED Ministries update for 20 December 2021, as provided by Reverend Courtney Richards.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Hello friends and prayer partners. Christmas and Advent greetings to each of you and your family and loved ones. I trust that God’s wonderful gift of grace to us through His Son, Jesus the Christ, will be joyously accepted by us and lived out to the full by the Spirit of Christ in us who know Him.

I have been reading, again, the Advent story and have noticed how worship (thanksgiving and praise) was a key and consistent response to the announcements of Jesus’ birth! Mary, Zechariah, the Shepherds, the Magi, Simeon and Anna the prophetess all exhibited this crucial quality: glorifying God for the gift of His Son and the salvation He has brought to us. Let us do likewise as we celebrate what God has done in Jesus Christ and what He is doing in our lives today as a result. Let us joyfully thank and praise Him for His great gift to us! Hallelujah!!

I thank God also for you and other individuals and for the churches and ministries all over the world who partner with us in prayer, financial support and ministry and mission. I am eternally grateful to you all and pray God’s wonderful and choicest blessings will continually be poured into your lives. May God’s hand of grace, love, mercy and favour remain upon you as we enter into 2022 not so long from now, God willing.

Recently, our Executive Committee met and among other things looked at the global situation re the coronavirus pandemic and the new Omicron variant and its possible impact on Missions 2022. We have also been in touch with our ministry partners in Africa especially where much of our ministry is focused. Upon the advice of our friends and partners in Africa and our consideration of the evidence before us, we have decided to continue with Missions 2022 as is! We have a team of over 15 persons committed to South Africa missions in June and pastor Alex Altidor and I will train pastors and leaders in Uganda and Kenya in April. We will also do the same in Nepal in April and May and I will lead a small team to do a one-week training ministry in Rwanda in July.

Two of my sons, Leroy Hutchinson and Oshane Campbell from Jamaica will also travel with us to Kenya in April to train youth leaders and others in youth leadership and sports ministry. Our Executive Committee will meet again on January 12, 2022, to look at updated information regarding the coronavirus at that time and will let you know what decisions we make. Please be much in prayer with us for God’s wisdom and the leading and guidance of His Holy Spirit as we face very challenging times.

Our Missions budget still needs your financial support. At present, we need $34,400 more to meet our Missions budget for 2022! Please give a generous gift to RENEWED Ministries to help us fulfil Missions 2022 to Uganda, Kenya, Nepal, South Africa and Rwanda. Africa Missions and Nepal Missions are growing exponentially and we must continue to support what God is doing there through our many mentees and disciples who are deeply committed to making disciples and mentoring God’s people to grow in Christ, all for the Kingdom and glory of God!!

Please send your gifts to: RENEWED Ministries, P.O. Box 1229, Mishawaka, Indiana, USA 46546 or via PayPal on our website: www.renewed-ministries.org.

Once again, I thank you for your partnership in the gospel and for making disciples of the nations. Rejoice in what God is doing, for YOU are a VITAL part of this global ministry that we are engaged in.  May God richly bless you!

Coram Deo!
Always in God’s grip,
Courtney
